Dan joined Campbell,
Hornbeck, Chilcoat &
Veatch in 1987. He has
concentrated his practice
in the area of business
litigation, including
employment discrimination

and harassment matters, in addition to other business related areas. As a part of his practice, Dan serves as the firm's litigation consultant. In this capacity he reviews client contracts in order to identify potential problem areas which could lead to litigation. Dan has litigated matters for clients in both state and federal courts in Indiana, New York, Kentucky, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, West Virginia, California and Pennsylvania. He has also participated in numerous arbitrations and mediations for clients on a variety of issues and has volunteered as a mediator in support of the Franklin County Courts' Settlement Week program.

Dan has been involved in coaching youth soccer for Worthington Youth Boosters, TVSA and COSA. He served on the Parish Council of St. Peter's Catholic Church and was a board member of the Columbus Theater Ballet Company. He has also been a member of various booster groups in the Worthington City Schools.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association. He is also a member of the Litigation Section, Real Property and Probate Committees through the American Bar Association and is a member of the Columbus Bar Association Employment Law Committee.

Dan is admitted to practice in Ohio and the Federal District Courts of both the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio. He is admitted to the Fifth and Sixth Circuit U.S. Courts of Appeal.

Dan received his Juris Doctor from Capital University. Prior to law school, he earned a Masters Degree in Education from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts from John Carroll University. He is a recipient of the Order of the Curia and the Order of the Barristers for academic achievement. He served as both a member of the Capital University Law Moot Court Board and as its Chief Justice.
