and operated his own lawn care service business, and worked for an OSHA compliance company. This business experience has proven to be valuable to his legal practice.

Jeff concentrates his practice in sports and entertainment law. He is a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Player’s Association and is registered with the Major League Baseball Player’s Association. Jeff is President of Sterling Sports Management, LLC which represents numerous professional athletes, including professional football players and touring professional golfers.

Jeff serves his sports and entertainment clients in areas such as contract negotiation, marketing, public relations, and tax planning. In addition he solicits and secures sponsorship and endorsement opportunities for the athletes. Not only does Jeff pursue traditional advertisers and sponsors such as footwear, apparel and soft drink companies; but he is also known for being innovative and creative in thinking "out-of-the-box" to bring non-traditional entities into the sport sponsorship arena.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from Capital University. He is a member of the Columbus and Ohio State Bar Associations and serves on the Sports & Entertainment Law committees of each.

Jeff serves his community as a board member of the Young Life Campaign and is very active in his church.
